The 3.9 is great, the car is savagely quick in 3rd and 4th, and gets to the redline in 5th very quickly (along with proper torque steer). Your Volkswagen’s manual transmission changes the amount of torque that is transitioned from your engine to the drive train. I changed it from a 3.6 (CBA) which was great on the road but I was only using 2 gears on track most of the time, 3rd and 4th.
